dont expect too much at the moment, unfortunatly the "under construction" phrase implies a lot of activity when in reality its more like "intermission"...
first the stuff on the 'flaming eye page' doesnt really mean anything, i mean it might stuff always is more than the sum of its parts, but i didnt intend for more than decoration... so to those of you who spent any time looking for hidden-ness, well, im sure theres something though i dont know what...
(so jerk that i am it never occoured to me that all the stuff on the front page would just come out as letters if you didnt have the same fonts in your computer so in a way it all did "mean" something else that being these symbols which i had to make into jpegs and replace the text with, which i did today march 20, those of you who tuned in prior saw letters which explains why i got a lot of mail asking what it meant)
i havent been doing all that much lately, though i have been dealing with aspects of the internet, the main thing ive realised is that its still in a very primative state, people who are used to turning on their tv and getting what comes out of it are i suspect somewhat put off by how much effort goes into seeing just static images, stuff that hardly moves no less... im frustrated by how much goes into just putting a bunch of words down let alone what a pain it was getting DSL turned on here... but... things are moving along and hopefully pretty soon ill have more specific info about what is coming... our management, Left Bank is working with us towards expanding all of our roles on the net...

the blondie band is getting started on/with another recording, im just scratching the surface and its going to be a while before anything is even close to being able to get ouuuut... i have gotten some comments from people discussing what they think we should do that are very close to what weve been thinking, for instance the next bunch of stuff shouldnt be so 'pop', its gonna have to be more modern, the no exit record referred to older styles, and this one has got to be more of its own thing not be based on specific existing styles... |
... meanwhile ive gotten so much mail about dreams that im very encouraged about the spiritual level of you all... everyone seems to have some thoughts about the mystery that happens to people when they sleep, dreams are to me such a profound experience, they are at the same time something so personally familiar and utterly alien, there are few things in life that so clearly demonstrate how little we really know about ourselves, im also really pleasesd that everyone seems to know deep down that there is more to the dream experience than what is commonly tossed about by psychological science; the idea that dreams are just psychic screen savers if you will, mere images thrown up by our fleshy brains just isnt a good enough answer for how the experience feels ... ive not got that much now... im gonna press the button and see where this winds up... ill put more things here fairly regularly as i learn this stupid program
